The OPP’s Underwater Search and Recovery Unit yesterday located the body of a 24-year-old Winnipeg man reported missing Saturday.
The man was a passenger in a 14’ Lund boat on Gun Lake, south of Minaki, when it ran into waves and he was ejected.
The operator of the boat, who also was ejected, was rescued by witnesses in the area.
A post-mortem examination was scheduled for today at Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora.
