Shortly before midnight on Sunday, the OPP received a report of a marine incident on Lac La Croix near Twin Falls.
Upon investigation, it was determined a jet boat with five people on board hit an island, resulting in injuries to a 37-year-old female from Old Fort Bay, Que., a 22-year-old female from Dawson, Ont., and a 23-year-old female from Kenora.
Two were transported by air ambulance while one was taken by land ambulance for medical attention.
The injuries were non-life threatening.
The investigation is continuing.
