The fire scene has been quiet, with the Ministry of Natural Resources reporting no new fires over the weekend.
The active fires in the region include one in the far north of Nipigon District and six in Sioux Lookout District.
But the fire hazard is rising, being “moderate to high” in the west and “moderate” across the rest of the region.
