Most provincial parks in Northern Ontario will open this Friday (May 18).
In 2011, Ontario’s provincial parks received almost 10 million visits—an increase of 50,000 visits from the year before.
Ontario Parks brought in almost $63 million in revenue in 2011, which was re-invested in our provincial parks programs and supported jobs and businesses all across the province.
Campsites can be reserved online 24 hours a day at OntarioParks.com/welcome or by calling the park reservation line at 1-888-ONT-PARK between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. daily.
There are more than 330 provincial parks in Ontario, with more than 100 featuring visitor facilities.
