Julianna Enns comes to us from Winnipeg, Man. She holds an ARCT (teacher’s) degree and is a member of the Manitoba Registered Music Teachers’ Association.
Her teachers have included Erna Elias, Jean Broadfoot, Marlene Pauls Laucht, and Frances Sanderson.
Enns works as a music teacher, accompanist, adjudicator, clinician, and guest lecturer.
She taught in southern Manitoba for 40+ years and recently moved to Winnipeg, where she continues her career.
Her students range from beginner to professional, and include piano, theory, and pedagogy. She gives master classes and workshops, and also does consulting for auditions and exams.
She presently is teaching privately, as well as at three Hutterite colonies.
Enns has adjudicated festivals for AMAF for more than a decade, and also given workshops at the Manitoba Conservatory of Music on topics such as “Motivating your piano student” and “How to teach beginners.”
She serves as an accompanist at Grant Memorial Baptist Church, is married, and has three children and two grandchildren.
