Barb MacDonell
Dear Mike:
2012 is the 36th anniversary of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority “Daffodil Drive” in Fort Frances and area.
With our partners, the Canadian Cancer Society, the members of Beta Sigma Phi sell beautiful live daffodils in a one-day drive.
The proceeds of the “Daffodil Drive” go towards the research and development programs of the Canadian Cancer Society, as well as to programs that aid and benefit victims of cancer and their families.
The 2012 Beta Sigma Phi “Daffodil Drive” is this Friday (March 30). Please support this event by purchasing daffodils at the CC Complex, Einar’s, The Beer Store, La Place Rendez-Vous, Super 8 Motel, Northwoods Gallery and Gifts, Tim Hortons, McDonald’s, The Harbourage, Boston Pizza, Canadian Tire, Lowe’s Furniture, the Husky gas station, and Subway.
They also will be available at Greensides Store in Devlin, as well as Tompkins Hardware and Cloverleaf in Emo.
This year, we are fundraising for the entire month of April—the main fundraising time for the Canadian Cancer Society—with sales of daffodil pins and paper daffodils at Boston Pizza and McDonald’s, with daffodil pins at the Northwestern Health Unit and Fort Frances Community Clinic, and paper daffodils at The Harbourage.
Thank you,
Barb MacDonell
