On Sunday at 6:45 p.m., Rainy River District OPP officers attended the 300 block of Mackenzie Avenue East in Atikokan to investigate the cause of a single motor vehicle collision.
The 52-year-old Atikokan male driver, the lone occupant of the vehicle, was not injured as a result of the collision.
He was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and having a blood alcohol level over 80 mg.
The breath results well exceeded the legal limit.
The man is scheduled to appear in court in Atikokan on April 26.
