La Place Rendez-Vous remains the team to beat in the local men’s basketball league.
The squad improved to 8-2 on the season with a 91-81 win over the Muskies on Monday night at the Fort High gym.
As has been the case for most of the season, Josh Mastin was the high scorer for the Vous, netting 46 points.
Will Anderson topped the Muskies (3-7) with 29 points.
In the other game Monday, Boston Pizza dumped Taggs 91-61 sparked by a 35-point outburst from Jon Sivonen.
Jacob McIntosh scored 20 points for Taggs.
With the win, Boston Pizza improved to 7-3 while Taggs fell to 2-8.
League play resumes this Monday, with Taggs and the Vous squaring off at 8 p.m.
The Muskies were slated to face Boston Pizza at 6:30 p.m., but that game will have to be rescheduled since the black-and-gold will be at the all-Ontario championships in St. Catharines.
