Jeanie Townson of Fort Frances took home the top prize of $97,800 during a “Monster Bingo” last night at the Couchiching Bingo Palace.
“I’m still shocked,” she admitted. “I don’t even know what to do with it yet.
“But I’m very happy.”
The cash was won on the U-Pik-Em on 24 numbers or less, with the total possible payout being the amount Townson won.
“I won it on the 24th number,” she noted.
Townson said she only plays Bingo “once in a blue moon” and wasn’t planning on going last night, but changed her mind.
“I’m really glad I decided to go,” she enthused.
