The Fort High gym will a beehive of activity tomorrow as the Muskie court teams host the NorWOSSA playoffs.
Action is set to get underway at 10 a.m. with the junior boys’ basketball semi-final taking place in the large gym between the Kenora Broncos and Dryden Eagles.
At the same time, the small gym will feature the junior girls’ volleyball semi-final between the Muskies and Broncos.
The senior semi-finals will get underway at 11:30 a.m., with the Eagles and Broncos battling in the large gym in basketball action while the Muskies and Broncos will square off in volleyball play.
The competition then will move into the large gym starting at 2 p.m. with the junior girls’ volleyball final, where the top-seeded Eagles will take on the winner of the Muskies-Broncos semi-final match from earlier in the morning.
The junior boys’ hoops final will follow at 3:45 p.m., when the top-ranked Muskies will face either the Eagles or Broncos.
The volleyball net will go back up at 5:30 p.m. for the senior girls’ final, which will see the winner of the morning’s clash between Fort High and Kenora go up against the perennial powerhouse from Dryden.
Finally, at 7:15 p.m., the regular-season champion Muskies will hit the court for the senior boys’ basketball final against the winner of the Eagles/Broncos semi-final contest.
Meanwhile, Fort High isn’t the only venue involving the black-and-gold tomorrow afternoon as the Muskie girls’ hockey team will host a rare matinee affair at 1:15 p.m. against the Red Lake Rams at the Ice For Kids Arena.
The team also is in action tonight at 7:15 p.m., when they host the Dryden Eagles.
