Devlin curler Jenna Enge, who plays second on Tracy Horgan’s Sudbury rink, will begin her quest towards representing Ontario at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts tonight in Kenora.
The Horgan foursome, which also includes third Jennifer Seabrook and lead Amanda Gates, will take to the ice at 7 p.m. in the opening draw of the Ontario Scotties, where they’ll face 2005 Scotties runner-up Jenn Hanna (Ottawa).
Last year at the provincials, Horgan’s rink made it all the way to the semi-finals before falling to Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay).
Horgan and McCarville once again are among the front-runners to capture this year’s title and represent Ontario at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Red Deer, Alta. from Feb. 18-26.
Defending champ Rachel Homan (Ottawa) and Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater) also considered to be favourites in Kenora.
