The Muskie boys’ hockey team will hold its annual tea and bake sale on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 2-4 p.m. in the Fort Frances High School cafeteria.

The Emo Legion will host a fish fry, also featuring salads, potatoes, and all the trimmings, on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 4:30-7 p.m.
The cost is $13/person, with take-out orders available prior to 4:30 p.m.

Cribbage played at the Emo Legion last week saw the high going to Adelia Guba and Rita Woodland while Ester Elias and her son, Roy, took the low score.

The next bingo at the Emo Legion will take place Tuesday, Jan. 24. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, the next “Country Jam” is slated there on Feb. 17. Come out and enjoy an evening of good old-time music!

The information meeting held at Donald Young School last Thursday evening (Jan. 12) was well-attended by many concerned citizens from the community.
There appears to be a lot of worry and questions regarding the future of the school.
A third meeting will be held Feb. 9 to continue gathering input as well as answer the many questions that people have.

“No,” said the gal, whose name was Hedda Hesplatree.
“Vell, vhat about hairy backs and 8 or 9 folds on deir stomach?” asked Helga.
“How awful!” exclaimed Hedda. “Why do you ask?”
