La Place Rendez-Vous remains the team to beat in local men’s basketball league play.
The squad improved to 5-0 on Monday night with a 95-70 win over Taggs at Fort High.
Josh Mastin led the Vous with a 41-point outburst, which marked the second-straight game he has exceeded the 40-point plateau.
Mastin netted 47 points in a 95-89 victory over the Muskies back on Jan. 9.
Brady Jensen had 14 points to lead Taggs, who fell to 0-5 with the loss.
In the early game Monday, Boston Pizza (4-1) edged the Muskies (1-4) 50-45 thanks to a 20-point effort from Rob McGinnis.
Caleb McIntosh paced the Muskies’ attack with 19 points.
League play is slated to resume this coming Monday, with the Muskies playing Taggs at 6:30 p.m. and then Boston Pizza trying to knock off the Vous at 8 p.m.
That may change, however, as league organizers are waiting to see if exams at Fort High will cause any issues with those games.
A decision on whether Monday’s games will go ahead as scheduled is expected to be made Friday.
