Another season of local men’s basketball league play got underway last night at the Fort High gym, with all four teams in action.
The first game saw the Rendez-Vous defeat the defending champion Muskies 84-73, in a contest that saw the Vous help the Muskies fill out their roster due to a lack of players.
Although the final score will be kept for use in the league standings, actual details were not kept for the game.
Then in the late game, Boston Pizza used a 31-point outing from John Sivonen to dump Taggs 74-48.
Brady Jensen led Taggs with 24 points.
League play will resume next Monday with the Muskies taking on Boston Pizza at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Vous playing Taggs at 8:30.
