The Rainy River District OPP is investigating the report of a missing person.
Eric Natti, 49, of Atikokan was reported missing to police when he failed to arrive at his place of employment on Monday (Nov. 21).
He was last seen by his family, is reported to be in good general health, and is an avid outdoorsman as he operates a trapline.
His vehicle was located at the Miller Lake landing, located 25 km on the Hardtack Road of Highway 622.
His trapper’s cabin only is accessible via a chain of portages and lakes as it is located about eight km from the landing.
Natti is described as having a slender build, roughly 130-140 pounds, and standing 5’7”-5’9” with shoulder-length greying straight hair.
His hair is thin on top of his head and he usually wears a ball cap. He also has a long, greying beard.
Police know Natti has an older model cream/sand-coloured fibreglass boat with steering wheel, full windshield, and a dark colour outboard motor with a motor speed of about 35 h.p.
The boat was last seen at Miller Lake landing by the family, and is now gone.
