Fort Frances High School “Saving Faces” and “Free the Children” mobilizers collected a massive haul of non-perishable food Monday night during their “Hallowe’en for Hunger” drive.
A total of 33 students—more than twice the number who participated last year—trick-or-treated around Fort Frances and collected more than 2,100 items from generous residents.
All of the food has been donated to the local Salvation Army food bank.
