The Fort Frances Lakers will have to wait a little longer to get their first glimpse at the expansion Iron Range Ironheads.
Their contest, originally slated for next Tuesday (Oct. 4) at the Ice For Kids Arena, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 7:30 p.m.
According to Lakers’ head coach/GM Wayne Strachan, the change was made to help the Ironheads further prepare for their inaugural SIJHL campaign.
The Lakers, who last played on Sunday (a 6-2 win in Duluth) now will have to wait until Friday, Oct. 9 for their next contest, when they welcome the Thunder Bay North Stars to town.
