Hydro One is planning a power outage next Thursday (Sept. 29) for some 3,800 Hydro One customer west of Fort Frances, up to and including Rainy River.
This outage is scheduled to last from 7:30-8 a.m.
On that same day, some 1,016 customers east of Fort Frances, including Couchiching FN, Fairnington, Halkirk, Rainy Lake 17A FN, Rainy Lake 18C FN, Red Gut Bay FN, and Watten, will be affected by a seven-hour outage.
It is scheduled to last from 7:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m.
Hydro One said it requires this power interruption to perform maintenance and upgrades to its equipment.
