The Ministry of Transportation wishes to advise that Highway 602 near Emo is closed to through traffic between the Highway 11 junction and the intersection with Fisher Road.
Local traffic is being permitted access on either side of a culvert located 3.2 km from the Highway 11 intersection.
During the closure, an alternate route is available via Fisher Road, Highway 613, and Highway 11.
This closure is required to ensure motorist safety at the site of a deteriorated concrete culvert while arrangements can be made for reinstatement of this section of Highway 602.
Crews are working to expedite emergency repair as soon as possible.
Motorists are urged to schedule their trips to avoid the closure.
