The Rainy River District OPP Crime Unit, with the assistance of detachment officers, conducted an investigation into an alleged breach of a court order involving John Paul Muzyka, 39, of Emo.
Police executed a warrant yesterday at the Muzyka residence. As a result, police seized computers, gaming equipment/hard drive, data recording devices, voice recording devices, and memory cards
A firearm and ammunition also were seized.
Muzyka has been charged with possession of child pornography, careless storage of a firearm, and failing to comply with a court order.
He appeared before Provincial Court this morning and was remanded into custody.
His next court appearance is scheduled for July 18 in Fort Frances.
