Power was restored to nearly 2,000 Hydro One customers in the west end of Rainy River District by 6 a.m. today.
At 12:05 a.m., Atwood, Big Grassy FN, Big Island FN, Blue, Curran, Dilke, McCrosson, Morley, Morson, Nelles, Patullo, Pratt, Rainy River, Shenston, Sitton, Spohn, Sutherland, Tait, Tovell, Wildland, Game Reserve, and Worthington lost power due to an equipment failure.
A total of 1,836 Hydro One customers were affected, a spokesperson said.
Crews were dispatched to make repairs to a broken conductor, who were able to restore power by 6 a.m.
