Family and Children’s Services of the District of Rainy River and Kenora-Patricia Child and Family Services are pleased to announce their official amalgamation.
As of July 1, 2011, the new agency will become Kenora-Rainy River Districts Child and Family Services.
“The public and people we serve will not notice any changes in terms of service delivery,” said Bill Leonard, executive director for KRRDCFS.
“Folks will still call the same numbers and attend the same offices as before,” he added.
“The only difference people will notice is our new name and logo,” noted Leonard.
The new organization will continue to provide child welfare services throughout both districts, children’s mental health, developmental and community services in the Rainy River District and various other services that both agencies presently provide.
