On Saturday around 7:30 p.m., Rainy River District OPP officers attended a single motor-vehicle accident on Highway 11 near the French Lake entrance to Quetico Park.
Officers found the male driver, 71, had sustained non-life threatening injuries.
He was taken to Atikokan General Hospital and later released.
As a result of an investigation, the driver was charged with impaired driving and having a blood alcohol level over 80 mg.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Atikokan on July 28.
