Voting began today for the Rainy River Future Development Corp.’s 2011 Customer Service “People’s Choice” Online Challenge.
From now until May 13, the public can go to www.rrfdc.on.ca and click on “2011 Customer Service Challenge.”
After doing so, they will have one chance to vote for their choice of the top three businesses offering the best customer service, as well as provide a brief comment on how those three earned their vote.
“We just want people to vote,” RRFDC officer manager Cynde Milette noted yesterday afternoon, adding people have the next 10 days to do customer service research and make their choices.
“The key to this is go out and shop,” she stressed. “Make sure you shop so it’s an educated vote.”
This year’s contenders (list alphabetically) include Belluz Concrete & Rentals, Boston Pizza, Brockie’s Jewellers, Causeway General Insurance Brokers Ltd., Celeste’s, Cloverleaf Family Foods, Fort Frances Enhanced Hearing Centre, Fort Frances General Supply, Fort Frances Times Ltd., and Green’s Countrywide Furniture.
Also vying for the title are Kupila’s Sound Centre, La Place Rendez-Vous, Leon’s, Maddy’s Little Store, McTaggart’s, Naughty Pine Riding Ranch, Norlund Oil (2003) Ltd., Northwoods Gallery & Gifts, Peterbilt Fort Frances, and Pharmasave.
Simplicity Professional Hair & Body Care, Studio Gibbous, Super 8 Motel, Taggs Source for Sports, The Den, The Ear Clinic, Inc., Times Web Design; and West End Motors round out the contenders.
Once the voting closes at 4 p.m. on May 13, the top 10 businesses will be determined from the online results.
The winners then will be announced in late May during the Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce’s annual “After Hours” deck party.
