Dryden OPP currently are investigating the disappearance of three people who were travelling from a residence in Wainwright Township to Sioux Lookout.
George Daigle, a 65-year-old male from Dryden, left the Dryden area at 1 p.m. yesterday and was travelling with his granddaughter and a friend.
They did not arrive at their destination in Sioux Lookout and subsequently were reported to the OPP as missing.
The trio were travelling in a silver 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe bearing Ontario licence plate BHSW 563.
A ground search currently is underway with the assistance of members of the North West Region Emergency Response Team.
An aerial search also is being conducted with the assistance of the Ministry of Natural Resources.
