Birders’ finish strong

All six members of the Muskie badminton team have qualified for the NWOSSAA playoffs, which will be held next Wednesday in Marathon, although only two will able to attend.
Rory Bagacki, who went undefeated to top the senior boys’ singles division at the NorWOSSA finals yesterday in Dryden, is travelling to Edmonton with the Fort High band and so is unable to compete in Marathon.
The same holds true for Andre Emond (first in junior mixed doubles with Samantha Stahn) and Bryson Skirten (second in junior boys’ singles).
However, the Muskie senior boys’ doubles tandem of Robert Stevens and Spencer Pearce will vie for NWOSSAA gold—and a trip to the all-Ontarios on May 12-14 in Aurora.
The duo went undefeated yesterday in Dryden to finish first in their division.
