The public is invited to Hallett Hall at Rainycrest Long-Term Care tomorrow (April 15) at 3 p.m. to meet the new chaplain, Rev. Wayne McIntosh.
Rev. McIntosh is replacing long-time chaplain John Chornoby, who retired last fall.
“John was very diligent in his duties as spiritual co-ordinator at Rainycrest and was greatly missed when he retired,” noted Rainycrest administrator Edith Bodnar.
Along with his new role as chaplain at Rainycrest, Rev. McIntosh also is the pastor at St. John’s Anglican Church in Fort Frances.
“We’re extremely pleased that Rev. McIntosh has taken on this role within our facility,” said Bodnar.
“The spiritual component is important for many of our residents and their families, and Rev. McIntosh is already establishing a great rapport with them,” she added.
The “Meet & Greet” will begin at 3 p.m. in Hallett Hall, and refreshments will be served.
