The big city hasn’t been getting to Tirzah Keffer so far.
The Muskie skip and her rink of third Samantha Mueller, second Carley Busch, and lead Taylor Hartlin improved to 2-0 at the all-Ontarios in Toronto with a 7-4 win over St. Joseph High School (Nepean) this morning.
The rink had opened play yesterday afternoon with a 9-0 whitewash over Mary Ward (Toronto).
The black-and-gold met Sarnia’s Northern C.I. and V.S. (2-0) this afternoon, then will round out pool play against Oshawa’s Paul Dwyer High School (0-1) tomorrow morning.
The top two rinks from each pool will advance to the quarter-finals tomorrow afternoon.
The semi-finals are set for Saturday morning, with the gold-medal game that afternoon.
This is Fort High’s first-ever appearance at the OFSAA girls’ curling championship.
