‘Crafts Galore’ a sign of spring

Robin McCormick

If the melting snow and mild temperatures aren’t enough to make you think of spring, the annual “Crafts Galore” in Emo is sure to put you in the mood.
The two-day event will be held April 16-17 in conjunction with Spring Fever Days in Emo.
Call the Emo Legion to purchase a table, which cost $10 each.

Our community once again has been struck with loss and tragedy with the sudden passing of Wayne Beacham.
Sincere sympathy is extended to Wayne’s three children, Mathew, Megan, and Bradley, his parents, Brian and Marg, and to all other family and friends who are struggling with his passing.
Wayne was a kind, gentle man who loved life, the outdoors, and most of all his family.
The district is thinking of the many grieving people at this sad and difficult time.

Robin’s 2¢:
A husband was hospitalized for a few days, and his wife reported that his dog really missed him.
“She spends the night at the front door, awaiting your return,” the wife said.
“What an example of true love,” the husband replied. “I wonder if you’d be that concerned about me?”
“Honey,” his wife answered. “If you were gone overnight, and I didn’t know where you were, you can be sure I’d be waiting for you at the front door.”
