A week after losing by default to end their 10-game winning streak, Boston Pizza got back on track with a full lineup in local men’s basketball league action Monday night.
BP edged Taggs 74-72 in a thriller to end the regular season.
John Sivonen led BP with 23 points while Joey Teriot netted a game-high 26 for Taggs.
BP finished the regular season at 11-2 while Taggs dropped to 4-8.
Meanwhile, the Muskies (4-8) forfeited their game to Rendez-Vous (6-7).
As well, the Muskies are unable to play in their semi-final showdown against BP, who will receive a bye to the final by default.
Taggs and the Vous will meet March 22 to determine the other finalist.
The loser will meet the Muskies in the consolation final.
