The Fort Frances Aquanauts are looking to conquer the water at the Memorial Sports Centre this weekend.
The local swim club is hosting its annual home meet this weekend, with 20 members scheduled to suit up.
Eighty swimmers are registered in all.
The action starts Friday at 6 p.m., then kicks off Saturday and Sunday at 9 a.m.
Saturday also includes an afternoon session beginning at 3 p.m.
Aquanauts’ coach Dawnn Taylor was excited about her swimmers’ prospects at the competition after some had cut more than 20 seconds off their personal bests at the team time trial last month.
“Things are looking really great,” Taylor enthused.
