Given the current tough economic times, many people are disheartened to hear news of job loss and unemployment levels rising.
The OPP is pleased to report it is hiring new members, with a constable/cadet recruitment information session slated for tonight (Jan. 20) at 7 p.m. at Confederation College here.
Sgt. Darryl Wilson of Uniform Recruitment will deliver a seminar outlining the OPP recruitment process.
His presentation will include information about what prerequisites are required for a career with the OPP, basic constable training, benefits, and pay, as well as career opportunities.
Everyone is welcome to attend, and no advance registration is required.
