Once again, St. Mary’s Church was the setting for a wonderful show. A super cantata was heard by one and all.
Diane Maxey and her Choraliers were wonderful. Each year they can be counted upon to get everyone into the Christmas mood.
Even though Diane specifically asked the audience to refrain from applauding after every number, we all had great difficulty complying with her request.
The sing-a-long portion gave the audience an opportunity to be part of the show—and even those of us with tin ears and voices to match put our hearts into the effort.
The songs, old and new, familiar and not so familiar, ending with the “Hallelujah Chorus,” gave everyone on hand something to hold onto. And for most of us, old memories stirred themselves once again.
Thank you, Diane and friends, for another beautiful Christmas present.
