Nature dictates that eagles eat fish. But it’s the Muskie boys licking their lips at the thought of fattening up on another NorWOSSA opponent tonight.
The black-and-gold will host the Dryden Eagles at the Ice For Kids Arena at 7:15 p.m. in hopes of a 5-0 start to the NorWOSSA season and a 17-0 record overall (including tournaments).
The two teams hooked up a week ago in Dryden, with Fort High using a four-goal outburst in the third period to nail down a 6-3 victory.
The Muskies are 3-for-3 against Dryden so far, beating the Eagles 3-1 in Dryden’s pre-season home tournament and then 3-2 in the gold-medal game of another pre-season tourney in Morden, Man.
Dryden will be in tough to contain a Fort High offence that racked up 24 goals in two games over the weekend to win the Thanksgiving Shootout Cup tournament in Detroit Lakes, Mn.
