The La Verendrye Hospital Auxiliary once again is hosting a fall tea this Saturday (Oct. 17) from 2-4 p.m. at the New Beginnings Fellowship Church.
This church, located just east of the overpass, was chosen because of its size and handicap accessibility.
Last year was a huge success, with lots of visiting, prizes, and, of course, good food featuring fancy sandwiches and delicious dainties.
The bake table also is a big attraction, along with a “cookie walk” and the “Lucky Dozen” table.
You also can purchase your 2010 auxiliary membership as well as tickets for the Christmas draw.
The auxiliary again will be presenting a cheque to Riverside.
The aims and objectives of the La Verendrye auxiliary are to provide services and care that benefit our hospital and its patients in a non-medical way.
