OPP officers are seeking public assistance concerning recent investigations of break-ins.
On Thursday (July 16), a cottage owner told police his cottage had been broken into and several items were missing.
Police believe the break-in occurred sometime between July 2-16.
Items missing from the cottage include beer, liquor, several rod with reels, assorted Canadian coins, and a tackle bag with assorted plastic containers of tackle.
The value of the missing property is upwards of $1,000.
This is the second break-in at this cabin in the past two months.
Then on Friday (July 17), police were called to the 400 block of First Street East after someone contacted police upon observing a suspicious person outside his residence.
The complainant was alerted when he saw the suspicious person peering into several vehicles in the area.
The person was described as a Caucasian male, about 25 years of age, wearing a dark ball cap and dark shirt.
The public is urged to contact police should they have any information pertaining to this or any other unsolved crime.
