Once again Fort Frances High School has failed its students.
During the recent academic awards assembly at the high school, pens had not been ordered for three very deserving students. Their names made it to the list at the assembly, at least.
This mistake was reported to the office at the time and supposedly the pens were ordered.
Now the grad edition of the paper comes out and the three students are not listed in there. Shame on whoever did not follow up on their mistake and correct it at the time it was reported to them.
You cannot redo the paper and printing a correction just doesn’t cut it.
I would like to congratulate Cody Caul, Ryan Shortreed, and Geoffrey Smeeth. It is quite an achievement to be on the honour roll all through your high school years.
I think you deserve the recognition that was denied you.
