Area residents came out to toss their luck around in the annual mixed horseshoe tournament held as part of Canada Day celebrations at Pither’s Point Park.
With 18 players testing their skills, coming out on top was the team of Ray Smith (North West Bay) and Darwin Johnson (International Falls).
In second place was the team of Elvis DeBungee (Manitou Rapids) and Gordy Calder (Fort Frances).
Third place went to Joyce Smith and Gerald Mosher, both from North West Bay, while fourth place went to the International Falls father-daughter team of Orville and Sandra Larson.
