Following an investigation into missing revenue from a Fort Frances business, a district woman has been charged with one count of theft over $5,000.
In November, members of the Fort Frances OPP detachment began an investigation into the disappearance of a large amount of money from the daily proceeds at Suds & Tubs Laundromat on Portage Avenue.
As a result of that investigation, a former employee of the business, Linda Larocque, 57, of La Vallee Township has been charged with one count of theft over $5,000.
She will appear in court June 29.
