The Salvation Army’s annual “Red Shield” campaign is well underway. Officers, employees, and volunteers have embarked on a national awareness and fundraising campaign to support this valuable ministry.
The Town of Fort Frances has declared May as Red Shield Month, and you are invited to join our efforts to fight poverty in our community and district!
Our ministry in Fort Frances is affecting the lives of many disadvantaged families across the district. We provide stability during difficult times by providing counselling, food, clothing, and shelter.
Our aim is to give these families support and guidance to a more secure and fulfilling future.
The community is strengthened by our efforts to stop the cycle of poverty and provide responsible citizens.
Our community is facing economic challenges at this time and our need for your support is even greater. With the loss of jobs and many layoffs, the demand of our services has increased 20 percent.
We serve 600 families annually—and that number continues to rise.
Please participate in this year’s “Red Shield” campaign by giving generously.
