The Ministry of Natural Resources has issued forest road closures in the Atikokan area due to washouts and flooding.
Road closures currently are in place on the Stanton Bay Road, East Pinecone Road, and Crooked Pine Road.
Barricades and signs have been placed on these forest roads.
Additional roads which have been washed out, and may be barricaded this week, are the Camp 111, and East and North Mercutio roads.
Other bush roads in the area are experiencing soft sections and erosion, but currently remain open to traffic.
These roads have been marked for use with caution.
The MNR advises the public to seek information on the condition of forest access roads in the Atikokan area before travelling off major highways.
The public also can report additional road washouts to the ministry at 1-807-597-5001.
