Children’s Mental Health Week is being recognized across the entire province during the week of May 4-8.
Because of this, the staff of our Children’s Mental Health team at Family and Children’s Services would like to invite the public to attend a free barbecue at our Fort Frances office (located in the old high school) on Tuesday, May 5 from 4-6 p.m.
We want to celebrate the many great ways that our Children’s Mental Health program has supported the children of Rainy River District.
We would love to show the public some of the resources and educational tools we have in place to best serve our children and their families, as well as raise awareness of the rising mental health needs of our children.
Throughout Ontario, children’s mental health programs have seen the development of large wait lists as children now have to wait many months for mental health support.
We want to make our community aware of the increasing demand for children’s mental health services. Please help us celebrate and recognize Children’s Mental Health Week.
