Muskies hosting playoffs

Fort High has released the schedule for the NorWOSSA playoffs being held here tomorrow (Nov. 10).
Three of the four Muskie teams will play morning games after the Dryden Eagles wrapped up the first-place bye to the final in three of the divisions.
In semi-final action, the junior girls’ basketball team (4-4) will match up with the Kenora Broncos at 10 a.m. in the big gym while the junior boys’ volleyball team (5-3) goes up against Kenora in the small gym at the same time.
The senior boys’ volleyball team (3-5) then will take on Kenora at 11:30 a.m. in the small gym.
The Eagles and Broncos, meanwhile, will square off in the senior girls’ basketball semi-final in the big gym.
The Muskie senior girls’ basketball team, the lone Fort High team to earn a bye thanks to their 7-1 record during the regular season, will take to the court at 5:30 p.m. against either Dryden or Kenora with NorWOSSA gold and an NWOSSAA berth on the line.
The junior boys’ volleyball final goes at 2 p.m., followed by the junior girls’ basketball final at 3:45 p.m.
The day will wrap up with the senior boys’ volleyball final at 7:15 p.m.
All four finals will be played in the big gym.
In related news, a cheerleading demonstration is scheduled for 1 p.m. in the big gym.
