The public is invited to attend the annual general meeting of the Rainy Lake Conservancy at La Place Rendez-Vous in Fort Frances this Sunday (Aug. 10) from 3-5 p.m.
This year’s keynote speaker is Robin Reilly, superintendent of Quetico Provincial Park, who will touch on exciting new conservation initiatives in the watershed.
He also will outline plans to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Quetico Park.
The Rainy Lake Conservancy is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting Rainy Lake for present and future generations.
