Dear Mr. Editor:
I would like to bring your attention to the black-and-white flag symbols that “Passport Canada” displays on their passport application forms.
Appendix C 3.2 of the “FIP” (Federal Identity Program) by the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat states, “The flag of Canada, modified slightly for purposes of the FIP, is referred to as the ‘flag symbol.’”
The legal term for the flag of the nation of Canada is “The National Flag of Canada.” “The flag of Canada” term, on the other hand, is a slang language term. Many people are in jail because of the acceptance of slang langauge.
You can’t modify “The National Flag of Canada!” Not even slightly! If you do, it is a violation of international law. On the other hand, you can modify “the flag of Canada” without any consequences—as the “FIP” statement suggests.
There is no forensic evidence that “the flag of Canada” is the same flag as “The National Flag of Canada,” but the contrary that it is not.
In the “FIP” list of institutions that have to be identified by the flag symbol, there is no such term as “Passport Canada.” The “FIP” also states: “The objectives of the Federal Identity Program (FIP) are to enable the public to recognize clearly federal activities by means of consistent identification.”
Are the deeds of “Passport Canada” called “federal activities?” If it is, how can you identify it since it doesn’t exist?
There is such a term as “Passport Office” in the “FIP,” but that is not the same term as “Passport Canada” and “Passport Office” is not an institution of the “Government of Canada.” What is it?
“Passport Canada” is supposed to be “Canadian,” as its name suggests, but why is it not represented by “The National Flag of Canada” on their paper forms?
How can I fill out this passport application form when there are mistakes in it? The form itself states that having false information on it is criminal activity.
Why am I damaged (deprived of travel) by this faulty “Passport Canada” application form when I want to do what is correct? For more than four weeks now, I have had no response from “Passport Canada” for my inquiry about the jurisdiction of their passport application form.
Flags are the oldest of our symbols and they indicate/symbolize who we are. Every legal document shows jurisdiction by the displayed flag on it. That is contract law and contract is the most sacred conduct of all mankind!
Am I forced into a “consensus reality?” Consensus reality means that anything goes as long as you agree to it. In a consensus reality-type society, you may call white black or nothing something, as long as others accept it.
Who are responsible for the changes?
Is the “public” above the individual? I came from a former so-called “communist” country, where the individual had no right whatsoever. The policy there was to serve the “common good.”
Is “common good” the same as “public policy” in Canada? Does “public policy,” “common good,” “consensus realty” have the right to damage any individual by faulty paper documents?
Signed,
Andrew Szell
