Five locals charged in drug raid

Five people were charged after a search warrant was executed Friday at 1022 Second St. E. here, the Fort Frances OPP reported this morning.
The subsequent search of the residence resulted in the seizure of roughly $15,000 of cocaine and a variety of pharmaceuticals.
Also seized was more than $5,000 in cash as proceeds of drug sales.
Carolyn Fedorak, 58, of Fort Frances was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon, and failure to comply with a recognizance.
Priscilla Ballard, 40, of Fort Frances was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon, and breach of probation.
Joseph Fedorak, 24, of Fort Frances was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon, and failure to comply with probation.
All three were remanded into custody pending court appearances today (June 2).
Meanwhile, David Marsh, 42, of Alberton Township was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
He was released from custody and will appear in court July 14.
Jason S. Allan, 35, of Fort Frances was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
He also was released and will appear in court July 14.
Officers from the Fort Frances OPP’s Crime Unit, assisted by members of the Fort Frances OPP detachment, the Tri-Force Drug Enforcement Section, and the K-9 Unit, executed the warrant.
