Dr. Monika Dutt has withdrawn her application for the position of Medical Officer of Health/CEO for the Northwestern Health Unit, the board of health announced today.
No reason was given for her decision.
“On behalf of the board of health for the Northwestern Health Unit, I regret to announce that Dr. Monika Dutt has withdrawn her application for the position of Medical Officer of Health/CEO,” board chairman John Albanese said in a press release issued this morning.
“We appreciate her interest in the Northwestern Health Unit, and wish her all the best in her future endeavours,” he added.
In the interim, said Albanese, the health unit will continue its recruiting efforts for this position, which became open when longtime CEO and medical officer of health, Dr. Pete Sarsfield, retired last year.
