Vianets in control

Another week, another win for the Vianets in Fort Frances men’s basketball league action Monday night.
The Vianets were led by John Sivonen’s 31-point effort in their 77-72 win over the Muskies.
Pacing the offensive attack for the Muskies was Garnet Cornell, who finished with 22 points.
Vianets improved to 11-1 on the season with the win while the Muskies fell to 4-8.
Also Monday night, the Rendez-Vous evened their regular-season record to 6-6 following a win over Taggs.
Brad Wardas of the Vous led all scorers with 20 points while Kent Seguin netted 12 in a losing cause of Taggs, whose record dropped to 3-9.
The teams will take a week off before wrapping up the regular season.
