The Northern Lights Credit Union donated $1,600 to the Riverside Foundation for Heath Care on Friday for a new neo-natal transport incubator with a ventilator at La Verendrye Hospital.
The money is proceeds from the Northern Lights Credit Union’s “iCare Miles” program, where a percentage of its credit card-holders’ purchases are donated to local health care.
This is the fifth year these funds have been donated to the local hospital, with the money last going to the “Just Imagine” fundraising campaign for a CT Scanner here.
Through the “iCare Miles” program, the local branch of the Northern Lights Credit Union has donated a total of $6,383.78.
