Dear editor:
A few weeks ago, your paper carried an article on how many millions the Ministry of Transportation is going to spend on the northern transportation network (winter roads).
I am wondering if they could perhaps find a little more often a few shovels of gravel to keep the junction of Highway 11/71, west of Emo, from going to pieces altogether.
Or better yet, fix it permanently once the weather permits.
They might even put up a fancy sign saying how much the ministry cares for the northern transportation network.
Thank you,
M. Zimmerman
Emo, Ont.
